Add Links

Links can be added by drag and drop, toolbar buttons, menu options or the Link Properties dialog.

Drag and Drop
Items can be dragged from the desktop, from the web browser address bar, directly from a link on a web page displayed in a browser window, or from Windows Explorer to the Link Explorer Panel to automatically create links to Internet URLs or shortcuts to files or folders. Note that some browsers do not support dragging and dropping of URLs.

Toolbar Buttons

The and buttons are used for adding links to the contents of the active web browser. adds the link to the default folder while adds the link to the current folder or path of the current selection in the Link Explorer Panel. These features are not supported by some browsers.

Menu Options

Options to "Add Link to Default Folder" and "Add Link to Current Folder" are available in the Edit menu and the Tray Icon popup menu. These options function the same as the corresponding Toolbar buttons.

Link Properties Dialog

Selecting "Create New Link" (Ctrl+L) from the right-click popup menu in the link Explorer Panel or the Edit menu opens the Link Properties dialog. In this dialog the user is able to manually enter the title and URL of the link being added.
