Details Panel

The Details Panel consists of the Rating Bar and a panel containing information about when links and folders were visited, modified, and added.

Rating Bar
The Rating Bar is a tool for assigning links and folders a numerical rating corresponding to the user's opinion of the item. Any integer value from 0 to 100 can be assigned. To assign or adjust a rating, drag the thumb slider with the mouse to the right for a higher rating or to the left for a lower rating. When a rating has been assigned, a check mark is placed in the check box to the left of the Rating Bar slider. Searches can be performed on the link's rating if this check box is checked. If the check box is not checked, it is assumed that the user has not yet assigned a rating to the item, and the item will not be included in the search results of any search based on rating information.

Date and Time Information

In addition to displaying the Rating Bar value, when a link is selected, the Details Panel displays the URL of the link and the date and time it was last visited, last modified, and added. The link can be opened by double-clicking on the URL. The link will open in a new browser window or one already open depending on the setting in Preferences. Searches can be performed on the link's URL.

When a folder is selected, the Details Panel displays the Rating Bar value and the date and time the folder was last modified and added.

When a shortcut is selected, the Details Panel displays the Rating Bar value, the path that the shortcut points to, and the date and time the shortcut was last visited, modified, and added.
