The "Tools" tab of Preferences contains options for auto-generation of thumbnail images. The user can choose to have thumbnails generated when links are selected and/or when links are added.
To generate thumbnails for all links in a folder, select the folder and choose the "Refresh Thumbnail Image" option from the View menu or "Refresh All Thumbnails" from the right-click menu. Note that "Refresh All Thumbnail Images" only generates thumbnail images for links that do not already have images associated with them.

Options to refresh thumbnail images are available from the Link Explorer Panel popup menu, the
button on the Toolbar, and the Tools menu. The refreshed image displays any changes to the website of the selected link(s) made since the original thumbnail image was created and uses the current compression quality setting in the "Advanced" tab of Preferences.
