Links to internet URLs are denoted by the
icon, shortcuts to files or folders on the computer by 
, and separators by 
. The default folder is identified by the 
icon.
Right-clicking in this panel opens a popup menu from which links can be manipulated and utilities can be accessed.
Links can be dragged and dropped between and within folders. A line appears to indicate where the links will appear when dropped.
Navigation through the links can be accomplished using the mouse or the arrow keys. The +, -, and * keys can be used to expand, collapse, and expand all folders, respectively.
