Restore Backup Files

Backup files are automatically created and saved in the directory specified by the Backup Folder Path user preference if this option is enabled on the "File" tab in Preferences. Backup files are saved with a .bak extension and can be opened by making a copy of the backup file and changing the extension of the copy to .nvf. The copy of the backup with the .nvf extension can be opened as a regular file in NetVisualize by selecting "Open" from the File menu and locating the desired file on the user's computer. If there is a .nvt file with the same name as the .nvf file, it will be used to retrieve thumbnail images for the .nvf file.
