Set Online/Offline Status

The status of the internet connection can be automatically detected by NetVisualize or set by the user. Select "Online," "Offline," or "Auto Detect" from the Tools menu. When "Offline" is the selected setting, thumbnail generation is disabled.

By default, "Auto Detect" is enabled. However, in some cases NetVisualize may not be able to correctly detect the connection status. For example, if the computer is connected to a LAN but connects to the Internet using a dial-up modem, NetVisualize cannot determine which connection (LAN or dial-up) is used for Internet traffic. The manual connection status override setting can be used in such situations.
