Terminology
Browser - A program used to access the web, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator.
Collapse - Hide contents of a folder.
Click - Refers to a left-click with the mouse button unless specifically stated as right-click.
Dialog Window - A window that accepts user input used to accomplish specific tasks.
Expand - Display contents of a folder.
Focus - Refers to the window or item that is taking keyboard input. Usually the title bars of unfocused windows will be grayed out.
Menu Bar - The topmost dockable bar in the main NetVisualize window. It contains the File, Edit, View, Tools, Links, and Help menus.
Root Level - The main level of the Link Explorer Panel.
Search Bar - The toolbar containing the search buttons and the search text edit field. By default it is located beneath the main Toolbar at the top of the NetVisualize window.
Shortcut - A link to a file or folder on the computer.
System Tray - The small recessed area at the end of the system taskbar that contains notification icons or icons for programs that minimize to the System Tray instead of to the taskbar. NetVisualize provides an option to minimize to the System Tray.
Title Bar - the bar at the top of windows that displays the title of the program or component.
Tray Icon - Refers to the NetVisualize icon that appears in the computer's system tray. It is usually located next to the clock display.
URL - Universal Resource Locator, also known as the website address.
