Thumbnail Panel

The Thumbnail Panel displays a thumbnail image of the link that is selected in the Link Explorer Panel. Flash animations, Java scripts, ActiveX and other plug-ins are disabled when generating the thumbnail images to be displayed in the Thumbnail Panel. Double-clicking on the thumbnail image will display the full-size 800 x 600 image in a larger popup window. The size of the thumbnail can be set in Preferences. The thumbnail panel image is be refreshed by clicking on the

button on the toolbar.

Thumbnail images are saved in JPEG format in the same directory as the links file, but in a separate file. The image file has the same name as the links file, but has the extension .nvt instead of .nvf.

When links are deleted from a file, their corresponding thumbnail images are not automatically removed from the .nvt file. However, they can be removed by selecting "Pack Thumbnail Images File" from the Tools menu.

The option to save a thumbnail image as a JPEG file is available from the right-click popup menu for the Thumbnail Panel.
