Validate Links Dialog
The Validate Links Dialog is opened by selecting the "Validate Links" option from the Tools menu. The top left panel displays instructions to guide the user through the validation process. The Next and Previous buttons to the right of the panel are used to move from step to step (tab to tab). The instructions displayed pertain to the selected tabbed panel directly below.
Three information panels are situated below the tabbed panels. The top two panels display the title and status of the selected link in the top-most tabbed panel. The bottom panel displays the number of links validating, the number queued for validation, and the number of links listed in the top-most tabbed panel.
Buttons used for selecting links, validating links, stopping the validation process, deleting links, opening the help dialog, and closing the Validate Links dialog line the bottom of the Validate Links dialog.
The right side of the Validate Links dialog displays detailed information regarding the selected link.
The Validate Links feature uses multiple simultaneous threads for increased validation speed. The maximum number of simultaneous threads to be used is controlled by the "Maximum number of simultaneous thumbnail threads" setting on the "Advanced" tab in Preferences.
